Interpretation at the Court of Justice of the EU

Simultaneous interpretation during a hearing on the Białowieska Forest in the Court of Justice of the European Union

I am an interpreter accredited at the EU and I work on a regular basis for all EU institutions, including the European Parliament, European Commission and the Court of Justice. Preparation for the hearing concerning the Bialowieska Forest required familiarising myself with hundreds of pages of case documents, as well as absorbing vocabulary on the biological diversity of the Forest in a very short time.  Interpreting the pleadings, including that of the Minister of Environment and of the counsel of the European Commission into English took a lot of precision and ability to handle stress.
